Polli-Bangla Unnayan Shahojogita Shangstha (PBUSS) is a non- profit, non-profit making; non-religious, non-political, humanitarian voluntary & social welfare organization established in 2000 in the historical district like Dhaka district surrounded by with active initiatives of a few local honest, sincere and dedicated social workers from varied discipline lead by A K M Lutfor Rahman with an aim to promote the socio-economic status of the Urban & rural poor and the disadvantaged people emphasizing the backward and downtrodden women, children through awareness raising, capacity building, institution development, entrepreneurship development, health & family planning , non formal education and various income generation activities. PBUSS is also being served as an additional force to sustainable development of deprives, backward, downtrodden, Disabled and assists them to make economically and socially viable. It’s also carries out various programs such as; women and children rights and violence against women through enhance knowledge and skill to improve their family and social status so that men and women can work together in the society for sustainable standard of living. The organization has been implementing special program for disabled people in the project areas. PBUSS has skilled and experienced manpower to perform the program activities. The organization is registered with (1) Department of Social Service , (2) Bangladesh NGO Affairs Bureau. The organization has a strong Management Committee. The members of the committee are very skilled on Development initiatives. A skilled and strong staff team performing in the Program activities. PBUSS is well-known development organization in Dhaka district and other places of the Bangladesh.
